The foundation of every creation

Every material tells a different story.

At AnatolianCraft, we are drawn to materials with character—materials that invite touch, reveal craftsmanship and become more beautiful with time. Chosen for their texture, depth and expressive qualities, they provide the foundation upon which embroidery, ornament and artistry can unfold.

From leather and historic textiles to hand-sculpted floral forms, each material contributes its own voice to the making of our collections.

Made to age beautifully

Leather

Leather lies at the heart of every AnatolianCraft creation.

Used throughout our collections—from uppers and linings to traditional leather soles—it is valued for its durability, comfort and timeless appeal. Chosen for its natural character, leather evolves with wear, developing a unique patina shaped by movement and everyday life.

Our leather-soled shoes reflect a long-standing tradition of craftsmanship, where natural materials are selected not only for their beauty, but also for the way they accompany their wearer over time.

Its subtle variations make every piece unique, celebrating a beauty that grows richer with age.

A textile woven with light

Kutnu

Originating from Gaziantep, Kutnu is one of Türkiye's most distinctive woven textiles.

Known for its luminous surface and rich texture, it reflects light in a way that brings movement and depth to a design. Its expressive character makes it an exceptional foundation for embroidery and ornament, allowing handcrafted details to emerge with remarkable clarity.

Bridging heritage and contemporary design, Kutnu continues to inspire new interpretations through its timeless elegance.

A canvas for craftsmanship

Velvet

Prized for its depth, softness and richness, velvet has long been associated with decorative arts and ornament.

Its textured surface provides an ideal backdrop for embroidery, embellishment and handcrafted details. The way velvet absorbs and reflects light creates a sense of dimension, allowing each stitch and ornament to reveal itself gradually.

Both tactile and expressive, it brings warmth, depth and refinement to a design.
